Expat Coaching

As an expat you have to deal with a new challenging work and personal environment. Besides the cultural work challenges you will most probably feel responsible for the wellbeing of your family and don’t want to “bother” your spouse with your concerns. Together we will explore how to energetically navigate professional and family challenges you face during your expat assignment.

  • We have a rate for private clients and a corporate rate. School energy & wellbeing lectures are free of charge.

  • Coaching typically lasts between three and twelve months. The length of the engagement will be decided based on the professional goals, the complexity of needs, budget, and availability.

  • Some coaches recommend meeting once a week, while others suggest meeting bi-weekly or monthly. The frequency of the sessions will depend on the specific needs and goals, and can be adjusted as needed.

  • Coaching sessions will typically last between 45 minutes to an hour.

  • The coaching can be in Dutch or English whatever your preference is.

  • Sessions can be conducted face-to-face depending on the location or via video calls. Research proved that virtual coaching and face-to-face coaching are equally effective when using a skilled coach.

  • Essentially, as a client, you own your information, not the one who pays. ICF-credentialed coaches are bound by a code of ethics that safeguards your confidentiality as allowed by law. The information is yours and you can decide if or how you want to share it.

  • You can make a list of your personal goals. What do you hope to learn? What are your major concerns? What do you want to achieve?

  • Although both professions can help you get to improve your life, therapists are trained to treat mental illness or other significant emotional and relational concerns, while coaches help well functioning people to reach their full potential. Therapists tend to focus more on the past while coaches tend to focus on the future. Therapists focus on “why” certain behavioral patterns occur, and coaches work on “how” to work towards a goal.

  • A coach enables the individual he or she is working with to solve problems while a consultant is the expert that will solve problems. A consultant will generally help with problems that are directly related to your business.

  • A mentor is someone who shares their knowledge, skills and/or experience, to help another to develop and grow. A coach is someone who provides guidance to a client on their goals and helps them reach their full potential.

  • A Transformative Core Energy coach digs deeper into the underlying beliefs and asks the questions a person may not ask themselves. They challenge to think bigger and question the current beliefs. They are able to present this kind of challenge constructively in a way that is receptive to their clients.
